10 years in existence

Looking back on ten years of Translators Without Borders (TWB) and the work they have done, it is easy to see a commitment to language equality, education, and crisis response. From the Haiti earthquake of 2010 that cost the lives of an estimated 200,000 people, to creating language maps for countries with a large indigenous population — TWB has sent skilled people to work on amazing projects based on data, research, and technology.

Medical help and information have never been more essential as during the COVID-19 pandemic. Everyone deserves access to basic information so they can have a voice in the decisions that affect their lives. Given that there are 4 billion people deprived of fair information access, there’s a lot of work to be done.

TWB recently announced to be expanding their brand and become CLEAR Global. CLEAR Global will include Translators Without Borders, CLEAR Tech, and CLEAR Insights.

Knowing there are many who share the CLEAR Global vision to help people get vital information and be heard — whatever language they speak — there is no better way to applaud the ten years of work done than with statistics. CLEAR statistics.
