As STAR7’s Business Development Manager, we expect you to excel in leading the Business Development team and make sure they are successful in their outreach.

Your Tasks
Develop best practice operating strategies and provide direction for the business development team
Help to hire, onboard, train, and manage BDRs
Motivate BDRs to meet and exceed goals through coaching and ongoing training
Work closely with the sales manager to establish goals and metrics in line with corporate goals
Enhance processes to achieve lead generation goals, report on metrics, and obtain KPIs
Collaborate with the sales team regarding strategy and target markets
CRM: responsible for overall CRM hygiene by the BDRs and collaborate with Sales Operations Analyst to improve the CRM
Sales Tech Stack: in collaboration with Sales Operations Analyst identify which technology is most needed, compare technologies and prepare a budget and business case for approval by the sales manager
Regularly update content and knowledge base that is relevant for the BDRs
Create and maintain outreach templates and scripts
Establish a team communication calendar
Assure alignment across teams on data and communication
Spend a portion of time on BDR activities, in order to be able to lead by example
Owner of the BDR Onboarding Services for clients
We expect you to work well as part of a bigger sales team but also to be able to deliver and work independently.
