C.2. IULA adopts ISLRN initiative

The European Language Resources Association has announced that the Institute for Applied Linguistics (IULA) at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra has adopted the International Standard Language Resource Number (ISLRN) initiative. The ISLRN is a unique and universal identification schema for language resources. IULA has already submitted 107 language resources to the ISLRN.

D.4. KantanMT upgrades

KantanMT, a subscription-based machine translation service, has updated its data resource library, KantanLibrary. The upgrade includes 204 new bilingual data sets in seven industry verticals and 59 new language combinations.

KantanMT has also announced a new finger-tip functionality to allow clients to switch deployment from On-Premise, hosted within the clients' own infrastructure, to the KantanMT Cloud Hosted option.
