D.2. Written Corpus and evaluation packages

The European Language Resources Association (ELRA) has added a written corpus and three evaluation packages to its catalogue. A corpus of authentic text messages in French was created by a pluridisciplinary team of linguists and computer scientists that collected more than 88,000 French authentic text messages in Montpellier (2011), as part of the sud4science LR project.

The CLEFeHealth 2014 Task 3 evaluation package contains data used for the user-centered health information retrieval shared task at the CLEFeHealth Lab conducted in 2014. The REPERE evaluation package contains the visual annotation of 60 hours of French news TV shows, for the purpose of person recognition within TV programs. The MAURDOR project consists of evaluating systems for the automatic processing of written documents such as printed, typewritten or manuscripts.

Byte Level Research, analyst of the art and science of web globalization, has released its 2015 Web Globalization Report Card analyzing 150 global websites across more than 15 industry sectors. Websites were graded according to number of languages supported, global navigation, global and mobile website architecture and localization. The top 25 websites overall include companies such as Google, Starbucks, Hotels.com and Facebook.
