RWS Moravia partners with Memsource


RWS Moravia, a global leader in language services, has formed a strategic partnership with Memsource, a developer of cloud translation software, to capitalize on Memsource’s patented artificial intelligence features, including a machine translation quality estimation feature.

Memsource, a developer of cloud translation software, has opened an office in the United States. The subsidiary is located in Bedford, New Hampshire. Bill Lafferty will be head of US sales.

The feature can be used with over 70 language pairs and is available for the more than 25 machine translation engines supported in Memsource and in all Memsource editions.

Moravia rebrands


The Moravia IT Group has rebranded per its acquisition by RWS, a provider of intellectual property support services. RWS Moravia will continue to operate as an autonomous division of RWS.

New CEO at Moravia


Moravia IT, LLC, a provider of translation, localization and testing services, has appointed Paul Danter as chief executive officer (CEO). Danter joined Moravia in 2015 and most recently served as EVP business development and client services.

RWS signs agreement to acquire Moravia


RWS, a provider of intellectual property support services such as patent translations, international patent filing solutions and searches, has signed a purchase agreement to acquire the Moravia IT Group companies. Moravia will operate as an autonomous division of RWS, continuing to focus on providing specialized globalization services, digital marketing and outsourcing services.
