SAS acquires Teragram


SAS Institute, Inc., a provider of business intelligence and advanced analytics, has acquired Teragram Corporation, a developer of mobile and multilingual natural language processing technologies. Teragram will be run as an SAS company. Terms of the acquisition deal were not disclosed. The acquisition is intended to enhance SAS' text mining and analytical business intelligence offerings and extend them to enterprise and mobile search.
