OmniLingua Inc. has announced the creation of a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded annually to a student enrolled in the highly respected Monterey Institute of International Studies, Department of Translation and Interpretation. The OmniLingua Prize for Translation Excellence will be awarded in the spring to a student between the first and second years of his or her Master's degree program.

OmniLingua Inc. and OETTLI S.A. Language Management Solutions have consolidated to form OmniLingua Worldwide, LLC. Effective January 1, 2008, the agreement will create a single corporation. The new global entity is the culmination of a three-year alliance between the two companies. The blending of operational systems will allow the joint use of the OTIS system -- which stands for OmniLingua Translation and Information System -- an enterprise-class technology system designed to implement and manage a uniform workflow process for all clients.
