IDOC opens Thailand office, testing department in Dublin
Dec 20, 1996
IDOC Inc. announced the opening of its new office in Bangkok, Thailand. ”In order to support the localization needs of major developers and the increasing demand for the release of Thai software products, we have decided to set up a complete production and customer support facility in-country,” said IDOC Chairman Claudio Pinkus.
IDOC Thailand will provide complete localization solutions for Thai, including engineering, desktop publishing and quality control. IDOC is also expanding its software testing capabilities in Europe. In response to client requirements and the increased demand for software testing, IDOC Dublin established a department dedicated exclusively to the testing of software. The testing facility will focus on both original and localized software products.
IDOC provides its clients with the following testing services: test requirement analysis; critical path analysis; test case and test script development; full functional testing covering multiple hardware and software platforms; complete tracking and reporting; post-test analysis; and interface and help quality assurance.
The department is headed by Dean Horrigan who has spent more than eight years in testing for leading international companies. This new department will adopt worldwide recognized testing methodologies currently employed by organizations ranging from IBM to the US Defense Department. These include VMODEL, STEP and MIT.
