ElectronicHangul version 2.1
Sep 20, 1995
Bostow International is now shipping version 2.1 of ElectronicHangul, including a fully-revised and updated manual as well as extensive additions and improvements to disk-based help and demo files. The character processing extension, HangulBuilder, now incorporates a patch for the Macintosh ROM which improves on-screen display in applications that utilize Apple's text edit routines such as Freehand and HyperCard. The expanded warrantee breaks new ground for Eastern language software, giving written assurance of compatibility with all commercial Macintosh applications as well as all Apple systems and extensions such as KanjiTalk and the Chinese Language Kit. Upgrading is not essential for most current users as older versions continue to be usable on all new machines and systems.
ElectornicHangul allows the entry of Hangul, the native Korean writing system, on any Macintosh. The price of $295 includes unlimited free Tech Support direct from the owner/author, Wayne Bostow.
