Prestige Network receives government contract

Prestige Network, a language services provider in the public sector, has received another government contract to deliver face-to-face interpreting and British sign language (BSL) interpreting. The contract will require all of Prestige Network's interpreters to be security checked. It will also require use of 170 foreign languages and BSL, and will operate nationally in 69 offices across the United Kingdom.

With the need to communicate effectively within an increasingly diverse workforce, the contract will involve booking interpreters every month for various assignments in the region. Prestige Network is recruiting linguists in the North East and hopes to meet demands wherever possible from locally based professionals.
