Photographs and graphics
- At least 300 dots per inch in CMYK color mode (no spot or RGB colors)
- The preferred file type is a press-quality PDF file
- Graphics may also be submitted as .tiff, .eps, .jpg or .pdf files
- Explain the content of any graphic in a note when submitting your files
- Add a brief description of place, time and circumstance of any photo and identify all people to the best of your ability

Author photo
- At least 300 dots per inch
- 3 x 3 inches at a minimum (7.5 x 7.5 cm)
- 900 x 900 pixels
- Should be a well-lit (natural light is often best)
- Portrait should include head and shoulders with adequate space above the head
- Creative author photos are encouraged
