Vidya Rajashekaran

Senior product owner at Deluxe Media

Throughout my career at Deluxe, I have been fortunate to have several mentors and colleagues who have guided and motivated me to take on new challenges, helping me succeed and move forward in my career. In particular, I’d like to thank Swapna Nadkarni and Tanya Rodrigues — these two women have supported me through my early years  in the industry and encouraged me to think outside the box and pursue my many interests in the new technology domain.

Now, I am privileged to work with a brilliant team that develops technology solutions for localization. Greg Taieb and Zac Shaw are inspiring, forward-thinking leaders who encourage me and my colleagues to challenge ourselves and come up with ideas that are scalable and provide value to multiple customers. Their support has been crucial to the success of many projects that I’ve worked on, and this has helped me build confidence in my abilities. I’d like to thank them for believing in me and mentoring me.

I am truly honored to be a part of the wonderful group of women who were nominated for MultiLingual’s issue featuring women leading the language industry. It feels great to be recognized and appreciated by my peers in the industry. Thank you to all those who voted and sent personal messages. Your kind words mean a lot to me.

Vidya’s years of experience in localization operations enabled her to bring a unique perspective into the area of product development. She brings innovative ideas to simplify complex workflows. She loves problem solving and has a real knack for it.
