Ema Dantas founded Language Marketplace in 2000, growing it from her basement into one of Canada's largest privately owned translation companies — debt-free, with $3.5M+ in annual revenue and 1,500+ freelancers. She sold in 2022 to NATIONS Translation Group. Ema now consults with LSPs navigating the shift to AI-assisted workflows, helping them see technology as a co-pilot rather than a threat. She is a professional speaker, entrepreneur coach, and author of Mental Mountains and one of the few people in the world to have completed both versions of the 7 Summits challenge, summiting Everest in 2022.
