US-based audiovisual localization expert Dave Bryant and localization pro Patrick Dunne have joined the successful partnership of Mediawen, an audiovisual translation (AVT) technology company based in Paris, France, and Braahmam International, a full-service language service provider (LSP) headquartered in Ireland.
Dave Bryant’s remit is to extend the partnership into North America and to create successful worldwide alliances in the AVT space. Prior to starting this role, Dave was the CEO and product owner at Dotsub and has been at the forefront of audiovisual localization for over a decade.
Bryant explains, “The combination of Mediawen’s platform and Braahmam’s suite of language services provide the customer with a true one-stop shop for all AVT and related localization needs. In addition, the location of the partnership within the European Union provides security and linguistic benefits.”

Patrick Dunne has joined Braahmam International as Head of Operations. After a career spanning fields such as localization, customer service, and multilingual audio production, Patrick’s focus will be on digital marketing, helping Braahmam to communicate with those companies hoping to grow their business into international markets, and to help them find the solutions they need from Braahmam and its technology partner Mediawen.
Dunne was most recently Managing Director of video game company Social Quantum Ireland, and was previously Manager of International Support at Etsy, Audio Manager at Transware, CTO at Acorn Localizations, and Head of Training Services at Corel Corporation.
Patrick sees his new role as a bridge for Braahmam: “Introducing organizations of all sizes to Braahmam’s professional language services helps us all to grow. My mission is to ensure that companies are able to tap into our expertise in order to increase their markets and expand across the globe.”
