The Danish tech-enabled language service provider (LSP) LanguageWire has acquired ADT International, a French-based LSP delivering translation services to among others the Legal industry. With the acquisition, LanguageWire further strengthens its competitive position in the French market.
The acquisition of ADT International follows another acquisition in France last year by LanguageWire. “The French market for translation and localization services is attractive, and the acquisition of ADT International is a further step in making us a leading LSP in France and Europe,” says LanguageWire CEO Søren Bech Justesen. “ADT International has a loyal customer base with average collaboration across customers going on for over a decade; this is a testament to their high-quality service and matches well with LanguageWire values. I look forward to welcoming ADT International into the LanguageWire family.”
Both companies’ core markets and competencies complement each other well, creating a stronger offering for existing and potential customers. The company plans to continue under the LanguageWire name, where the development of leading AI technologies, integration solutions and deep people competencies remain at the center.
Following the acquisition, the companies’ combined turnover exceeds €70M, with a presence in 13 countries across three continents and more than 430 employees.

LanguageWire and ADT International have deep expertise within legal: customers who demand high quality, streamlined ways of working, and high-security standards.
“LanguageWire is renowned for its state-of-the-art technology and the highest data security standards in the industry. We look forward to enhancing our offerings to our customers while continuing to deliver the same high quality and service”, says Cédric Loison, founder of ADT International.
