LEO’s 9th Conference to Address Pressing Language-Industry Issues

In a world where communication transcends borders and technology rapidly reshapes interactions, Linguist Education Online (LEO) is evolving from a top training and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) provider to a global hub for thousands of language professionals. As June approaches, LEO is preparing to host its 9th biannual virtual conference, coinciding with the organization’s 15th anniversary in May.

A Legacy of Excellence

For 15 years, LEO has developed and refined a comprehensive array of educational offerings catering to a broad spectrum of language professionals. From specialized courses for court, healthcare, and educational interpreters and translators to language proficiency and interpreter performance testing, LEO has consistently broadened its impact and deepened its reach. These programs are meticulously designed to empower language professionals and organizations providing essential language services, enhancing linguistic skills globally.

The biannual online conference, a cornerstone event for LEO, exemplifies the organization’s commitment to ongoing improvement and adaptation. This event consistently brings together thought leaders and innovators to share insights, debate ideas, and explore new advancements in the field.

Scheduled for June 20-21, the conference will be held entirely online, underscoring LEO’s commitment to accessibility and inclusivity. The theme of “Navigating Language Industry Evolution” invites professionals worldwide to engage with emerging trends, embrace new technologies, and foster sustainable practices within the language sector. The event addresses pressing issues in the language industry, from the impact of AI on global communication to strategies for effective online engagement. A series of keynote presentations and panel discussions will equip attendees with the necessary tools and insights to thrive in an ever-changing landscape.

Among the distinguished lineup of speakers and panelists is Renato Beninatto, cofounder of Nimdzi Insights and a luminary in the language services industry.
