rom March 13–15, 2025, Mexico City played host to the third annual Vamos Juntos Summit, the flagship gathering of the Juntos Association of Language Services of Latin America and the Caribbean. With over 100 attendees, the event brought together translation, localization, and interpreting professionals from across the region—and beyond—for three dynamic days of learning, leadership, and connection.

Held at the Intercontinental Presidente, the summit featured two robust preconference workshop days and a powerful main program. From the outset, keynote speaker Renato Beninatto encouraged attendees to “reframe and think differently,” setting a tone of transformation that carried throughout. Anne-Marie Colliander Lind’s LinkedIn workshop and Andrzej Nedoma’s executive coaching sessions offered hands-on strategies for professional growth.
The conference officially opened with Ewandro Magalhães’ introspective keynote, “Inside the Mind of the Interpreter.” From there, parallel sessions explored key themes such as language service provider (LSP) growth, remote interpreting markets, pricing strategies, academic collaboration, and artificial intelligence (AI). Talks from industry voices like Adam Wooten, Nora Díaz, and Javier Díaz Fernández-Carvajal reflected both cutting-edge tech and deeply human insights.
Panels were a major highlight. Discussions on associations, buyers, interpreting, and women in leadership brought together executives from META, Salesforce, Rotary International, ALC, Latamways, and more — sparking ideas and momentum. The rooftop networking party at Hotel Condesa DF offered a memorable close to day one, blending celebration with deeper community bonding.

Perhaps most notably, Vamos Juntos 2025 underscored the growing strategic relevance of Latin America and the Caribbean in the global language industry. As a space for both reflection and bold forward motion, the summit was not just about knowledge-sharing — it was about empowerment, visibility, and building a regional voice with global impact.
The message was clear: The language industry here is rising — together.
