Powerling, a recognized specialist in multilingual content management and translation services, is set to accelerate its organic growth and embark on an ambitious build-up strategy supported by independent investment fund GEI. This collaboration paves the way for significant, sustainable growth, and strengthens Powerling’s potential on the international stage.
Founded in 1998 by Pierrick Mathieu and Anette Van de Loo, Powerling has made a name for itself with a diversified offering encompassing multilingual transformation, content management, and voice data collection. With offices in Lille, Paris, Amsterdam, and Boston, Powerling ranks among the world’s top 100 language services companies.
GEI is taking part in a minority shareholding transaction designed to support Powerling’s development, major international growth drivers having already been identified. The company’s key executives (Valentine Antoine, Sébastien Chochois, and Romain Rivière) are acquiring a stake in the company as part of this operation.
Powerling co-founder and CEO Pierrick Mathieu remains the majority shareholder. He explains, “I was won over by GEI’s highly entrepreneurial DNA. They have extensive experience in supporting dynamic companies and will be an invaluable partner as we pursue our international acquisitions strategy.”
Olivier Hamm, founding partner of GEI, is delighted with this transaction. “Powerling operates in a fast-growing market, driven by the development of international trade and the increasing volumes of content to be translated. We were convinced by the company’s positioning and agility, which enable it to take on complex projects involving content management for multinational companies.”
