The Congreso Uruguayo de Traducción e Interpretación (CUTI, Uruguayan Translation and Interpretation Conference) is back! Join us on September 1-2, 2023, for an amazing conference. Whether you speak Spanish, English, or Portuguese, you can enjoy the Conference. This year, we bring you more sessions, more benefits, and more fun!
The CUTI is a hybrid conference, i.e. both in person, in Montevideo, Uruguay, and online via Zoom. It will take place at the NH Montevideo Columbia Hotel. The Conference will be recorded, and both in-person and virtual attendants will have access to the recording for a limited period of time. The official language of the CUTI is Spanish, and most sessions will be presented in Spanish. However, thanks to the fantastic work of our volunteer interpreters, you can also enjoy the Conference in English and Brazilian Portuguese.
What’s new? This year, we will have two pre-conference workshops on the morning of Friday, September 1. The conference will officially kick off at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, with sessions during the afternoon and on Saturday, September 2. Also, this year, we are adding English interpretation to the Portuguese interpretation from previous editions.
You can expect two days full of learning, networking, and benefits. There will be raffles with lots of prizes for attendees, as well as discounts and other benefits. Stay tuned to learn more!
Who can attend? Translators and interpreters from all over the world, translation students (you get a discount if you submit proof of student!), professors, project managers, and anyone interested in the translation industry.
