Creole Solutions, a Haitian-owned, MWBE-certified language services firm, has announced the launch of HaitianHeritage.com, a free bilingual digital experience celebrating Haitian Creole language, history, and culture. The platform officially went live on May 1 to mark the beginning of Haitian Heritage Month 2026.
The site offers a five-week experience covering Haitian identity, history, the Haitian flag and national symbols, the Creole language, and Haitian stories. It also includes a thirty-one-day Word of the Day series, vocabulary cards that explore the Taíno, African, and European roots of selected words, and an original Creole-narrated fable from Nan Jaden Amoni, Julien’s Haitian Creole fable collection.
All audio was recorded by founder Marleen Julien and her colleague, Jasmin Larose, after early text-to-speech testing failed to capture the natural sound and pronunciation of Haitian Creole.
Developed with AI as a co-builder, the platform was carefully reviewed before launch to make sure the language, structure, and overall experience felt clear, accurate, and culturally grounded. The project builds on Creole Solutions’ years of work in localization, Haitian Creole translation, interpretation, and cultural consulting, along with the company’s 20,000+ entry English-Haitian Creole dictionary and original Creole content created for social media, educational programs, and schools in Haiti.
“As Haitian Creole becomes more visible online, we need resources that are accurate, culturally grounded, and built with care,” said Julien. “This is the kind of resource our community has been missing, a permanent online home for Haitian Creole, built by a native speaker with the linguistic and cultural depth the language deserves.”
HaitianHeritage.com is free with email registration. New content unlocks weekly throughout the month of May.
