Interprefy and vFairs partner up for webinar helping event organisers reduce carbon emissions

Zurich / London, 30 May, 2022 – Interprefy, the remote simultaneous interpretation provider, and vFairs, the all-in-one event platform, have today announced their joint webinar on “Returning to more eco-friendly on-site events”, held free on the vFairs platform on June 7th.

As the world returns to on-site events, many event organisers are looking for ways to reduce their events’ carbon emissions. A whopping 83% of event organisers say their organisations take sustainability into account when planning meetings and events, according to a recent survey.

The webinar, hosted virtually on the vFairs platform and moderated by Interprefy AV Alliance Manager Mark Breakspear, aims to provide event professionals with tips and insights on how to start measuring environmental impact and reducing event carbon emissions.

The webinar features high profile guest panelists sharing their experience and expertise on the topic:

Adam Parry is the co-founder of the event industry’s global online magazine, Event Industry News, director of Event Tech Live, Europe’s only show dedicated to event technology and co-organiser of the EventTechnology Awards.

Ben Quarrell is the co-founder of TRACE, by isla: the definitive carbon measurement platform for sustainable events, supporting the events industry to reduce its carbon footprint.

The webinar will take place online on June 7th, 3PM – 4PM GMT and will be available on demand after the event. For every attendee, the companies will donate a tree to Tree Nation.
