Nations Translation Group Appoints Industry Veteran André Palaguine as New CEO

Ottawa, Ontario, April 18, 2022 —Nations Translation Group (NTG) announced today that industry veteran André Palaguine has been appointed as the new CEO of the company. NTG is an Ottawa-based, 100% Indigenous owned translation group specializing in Canada’s official languages, English and French, and translates more than 100 world languages, including more than a dozen Indigenous languages spanning traditional territories across Canada.

André is a language industry leader with over 20 years of experience enabling competitive business strategies for enterprises where content and marketing communications play a key role in business development. Throughout his successful career, André has consistently led by example and demonstrated outstanding performance through his leadership, professionalism and integrity, his innovation in promoting business services, his dedication to high quality service, and his relationships with industry executives and key decision makers. He brings strong strategic and conceptual thinking and tactful problem-solving skills, in-depth understanding of business necessities as well as expertise in strategic business development, process improvement and business modernization to all of NTG’s operations.

“NTG is on an ambitious path to expand and leverage our French/English, multilingual and Indigenous language services and it was immediately clear that André Palaguine was the right person to lead that growth”, said Scott Patles-Richardson, NTG Chairman. “As governments and the private sector look to reach a broader diversity of audiences and optimize their ESG commitments, we know that NTG can be a solution and that Andre will lead us seamlessly into a new era.”

The Canadian language industry has seen momentous change and progress over the past several years, with new technologies, new ways of working in response to the pandemic, and new visions for how to achieve future success emerging in a dynamic industry landscape. NTG continues to optimize this evolution for the benefit of all clients, staff and stakeholders. A fresh, but experienced perspective and a motivated business development leader is another key step in NTG’s evolution as the leading Canadian and Indigenous-owned linguistic services provider.
