Voiseed secures €1 million investment to revolutionize the dubbing industry

Milan, Italy — Voiseed, the Italian startup founded in 2020, secured an investment of €1 million from Venture Capital evergreen LIFTT – as lead investor – and the European Commission’s European Innovation Council Fund (EIC Fund). Voiseed’s technology, which specializes in generative AI, provides a solution for the global voice dubbing & production industry that can mimic human emotions and the prosody of human speech in various voices across multiple languages.

Voiseed redefines the traditional approach of recording expressive voice content in a professional studio. Dubbing audio content in other languages is both time-consuming and expensive and it also requires significant resources from around the world. Due to these limitations, many video games, TV series, documentaries, and advertisements are just translated or subtitled, and people can’t enjoy content in their native language.

Voiseed addresses this problem by offering a cloud-based solution that primarily targets the entertainment industry. With the audacious mission of “Voicing the Unvoiced,” Voiseed AI Solution can help publishers, developers, and studios to significantly expand the reach of their global offerings in terms of languages and projects.

Voiseed has already received notable recognition for its innovation. In 2021, its technology received positive evaluation from the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator and has been selected as one of first recipients to receive over €3.5 million in grant funding and equity investment.

With this round of investment, Voiseed will be able to further improve its AI Universal model core technology and proprietary emotional dataset, allowing the company to finalize its first product Revoiceit, the fast, scalable, AI dubbing solution to craft any voice and control any style in any language, making it a valuable asset for the video game market and other entertainment verticals, such as media and entertainment, e-learning, and advertising.

“With this funding, we can speed up the development of our proprietary technology and expand the language offerings for our “Voice as a Service” platform. With our amazing team and cutting-edge technology, we are confident that we can revolutionize the dubbing industry with our generative AI unique solution” said Andrea Ballista, CEO at Voiseed.
