University shares 500+ million sentences for MT

Jörg Tiedemann, a professor of language technology for University of Helsinki, has shared more than 500 million translated sentences for free use in machine translation (MT). Strings are available in 188 languages.

Language Connect rebrands

British language services provider (LSP) Language Connect has officially changed its name to THG Fluently, reports information site Research Live. This comes after the 2018 acquisition of the company by retail platform The Hut Group (THG).
