BP Translation Conferences have been around since 2014, offering annual training and networking conferences for professional translators, every year in a different country around Europe. Our next event will take place in Kraków, Poland, on 12-14 May 2025.
Freelancers are used to working in a constantly fluid marketplace, and they understand the need to stay ahead of the curve in professional training to stay in business.
At BP Translation Conferences, ’BP’ stand for Business & Practice, the two broad areas of training. Well, it may also stand for ‘Badass Polyglots’, ‘Boosting Productivity’, or, for BP25, ‘Beautiful Poland’.
Call for papers
We are currently looking for speakers for BP25, our next conference. Do apply as a speaker to share your expertise with a keen international audience.
Popular subjects include AI and its implications, productivity tools, CAT tools, client acquisition, pricing, online presence, terminology management, work-life balance, and other aspects of freelancing. Our sessions and workshops offer hands-on, actionable knowledge that attendees can implement in their own freelance businesses. No academic subjects please.
Deadline: 27 October 2024.
In addition to the conference itself in Kraków, we will also have an online warm-up event in April – apply as a speaker if you cannot attend in person.

About BP Translation Conferences
We are a series of independently organized training and networking events for freelance translators, running popular CPD events since 2014. Previous conferences took place in Budapest, Zagreb, Prague, Vienna, Bologna, Lisbon, Utrecht, and Seville. BP25 Translation Conference in Kraków will be our 10th in-person event. We also successfully pivoted to online events in 2020.
Every year, translators and other language industry professionals from over 40 countries gather together at our events. Many attendees return year after year.
