Networking Days 2023 took place in Krakow, Poland on September 28 and 29 at the Vienna House by Wyndham Andel’s Krakow. Guests were just walking distance from the famous Market Square in the stunning Old Town and enjoyed sunset tours of this part of the city and the Old Jewish Quarter together, supplying them with a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, connect with other professionals and build robust relationships.

Richard Lucas, Keynote Speaker and Business and Social Entrepreneur presented on day one (1) and shared his notable experience in how to build, organise and equip management teams and how to prevent the key people in your company from becoming the bottlenecks for its growth.

Afterwards, the programme moved on to round-table discussions on ChatGPT, Strategies for Differentiation, the Evolution of Project Management and more where attendees could discuss current threats and opportunities in the industry with other professionals who understood. With their new friends on board, attendees participated in an ELIA-first karaoke night thanks to committee and ELIA Board Member, Klaus Fleischmann and the new President of ELIA, Anu Carnegie-Brown. Secret talents were uncovered in singing and dancing as the night passed by and dinner was served with drinks flowing throughout the venue with tremendous views from the terrace.

And, day two was no different, covering subjects such as How to Expand Your LSP Range, Pricing Strategies and AI. Chief Business Officer at Semantix, Britta Aagaard shared her perspective on LangOps and how it is not just about technology but rather a set of philosophies, practices, and tools that dramatically increase an organisation’s ability to communicate with its global customer base.

Then, it was time for some full glasses and farewells at the closing drinks as new and old friends parted to travel home with their further wealth of knowledge and blooming friendships. And, now it is time for the ELIA team to prepare for the final event of the year, Focus on PM 2023 in Bucharest.
