LEXIGO, an Australian translation and multicultural communication agency, has been confirmed as a NAATI-endorsed Language Service Provider under the new endorsement model authorized by Australian, state, and territory governments. The endorsement was issued by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) and is active for a two-year period.
LEXIGO’s endorsement number is 950085 and its status is verifiable through NAATI’s online directory of Endorsed Language Service Providers.
The LSP Endorsement Model is the most significant change to language services procurement in Australia in over a decade. Announced by the Australian Government on 6 December 2024, the model commenced on 24 February 2026. It introduces an organization-level credential that complements NAATI’s existing practitioner-level certification, and it gives federal, state, and territory government agencies a verified procurement signal when sourcing translation services.
To obtain and maintain endorsed status, language service providers must meet six ongoing requirements: engagement of NAATI-certified practitioners with priority given to the highest available certification level, agreement to the LSP Code of Conduct, compliance with cyber security standards aligned to the Australian Cyber Security Act 2024, quarterly service-related data reporting to NAATI, a documented quality assurance and customer feedback mechanism, and a formal practitioner induction process.
Mark Saba, Founder and CEO of LEXIGO, said the model will reshape how government agencies evaluate language service providers. “Endorsement isn’t a marketing claim. It’s a structural assurance issued by Australia’s national authority on translation and interpreting, on behalf of all three levels of government,” Saba said. “For a procurement officer evaluating a tender, the question shifts from ‘does this provider claim to be qualified?’ to ‘is this provider in the directory?’ That’s a meaningful shift, and it’ll embed itself into Commonwealth procurement language over the next twelve to eighteen months.”
Several Commonwealth language service panels opening through 2026 reference endorsement directly in their procurement frameworks.
LEXIGO’s endorsement adds to its existing accreditations. The company holds ISO 17100 (translation services), ISO 27001 (information security management), and ISO 9001 (quality management). It works with a vetted network of more than 10,000 professional translators across 171 languages, serves more than 50 Australian government clients, and operates across Australia.
