Research Grants Ceremony – Imminent

Rome, March 23, 2022 – Translated, a leading language service provider based in the US and Italy that pioneered the use of artificial intelligence to support professional translators, announces its research center Imminent’s Research Grants Live Ceremony. 

The event is scheduled for April 5th, 2022. Imminent will award one grant in each of the following categories: 

  • Linguistic data 
  • Language economics 
  • Human-computer interaction 
  • The neuroscience of language 
  • Algorithms for machine translation 

A total of €100,000 will be allocated to these research projects with the aim of supporting the team in exploring new frontiers in the language research field. The winning projects have been selected from dozens of applications from all over the world. 

Imminent was founded in 2021. It listens to experts in the field of language, interprets the numbers, and develops themes that join the dots in this period of great change, helping those who do business internationally to do so with an awareness of the multilingual context in which they operate. Every year Imminent publishes a Research Report with relevant insights concerning various aspects of the localization industry. 

At the event, Imminent will present the best research projects concerning language comprehension, data analysis, NLP, and the correlation between language and business. The Imminent Grants Live Ceremony is an opportunity to discover where language research is headed. Participation is free and is open to researchers, innovators, companies, authors, university labs, and organizations.
