Terra Translations Certified As Great Place to Work in Argentina

Buenos Aires, Argentina, Sept. 17, 2021 – Terra Translations, an Argentinian-American language service provider based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, announced its designation as a 2021-2022 Great Place to Work (GPTW) ®. Awarded based on information shared by employees during Great Place to Work’s independent survey process, Terra Translations is the first translation company in Argentina to earn this certification and now ranks among the best places to work in the country.

This year, Terra employees affirmed that it is a great place to work – 99% of workers said this is a workplace where people are treated fairly regardless of gender and 92% agreed that they receive continual professional training or development to further themselves within and outside of work. 97% of employees also reported that when they look at what Terra accomplishes, they feel a sense of pride in the company’s achievements.

“I want to thank each member of our team for participating so honestly in this initiative and for being committed to building a Great Place to Work together,” said Natalia Quintás, Director of Human Resources. “This experience can only be created by a team that really wants to work in a healthy environment.” Teamwork is a key part of why Terra is such a great place to work, which is why we are so proud that 100% feel that when it’s time to close a deal with a client, it becomes a priority for everyone.

Terra’s employee-centric culture has previously been recognized as outstanding, and in September of 2020, Terra also received the Focus on the Future Award for its commitment to culture.

Natalia Quintás, Director of Human Resources, led the push to have Terra certified. Having previously worked with GPTW in multinational companies and experiencing the impact this model had to improve day-to-day work life and team relationships. Drawing insights gained from internal employee satisfaction surveys conducted in 2018, Terra implemented successful action plans to address employee concerns and in 2020 partnered with GPTW to continue the process.

“Terra has a great culture with remarkable values such as proactivity, innovation, diversity, team spirit, authenticity, and trust. This certification gives us the opportunity to recognize our culture both internally and externally and to go deeper in our commitment to create a great place to work for each person that gets in touch with Terra and its team,” remarked Natalia.

In addition to a people-centered approach to company culture that values flexibility through a work-from-home structure and a wide array of professional development opportunities, the company also offers several wellness programs focused on physical and mental health available to all employees, including the “Remotamente Equilibrados” podcast hosted by Terra’s HR Department. At Terra, we believe people matter.
