Join Us for the 29th Annual Translation & Interpreting Conference at UMass Boston – May 3, 2025

Boston, MA – The New England Translators Association (NETA) is proud to announce the 29th Annual Translation & Interpreting Conference, taking place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the University of Massachusetts Boston. As the largest event of its kind in the region, this one-day conference draws more than 200 professionals, including translators, interpreters, project managers, and others in the language services industry.

The conference is held in collaboration with UMass Boston’s Department of Latin American and Iberian Studies and the Spanish-English Translation Certificate Program, highlighting a strong commitment to education, professional growth, and multilingual inclusion.

Start the day right with our first ever Networking Continental Breakfast, giving you a chance to connect with peers and presenters before diving into a day of insightful presentations and professional development tailored for language professionals in today’s evolving landscape.

Accreditation and Continuing Education

This year’s program is rich in content and has been pre-approved by several credentialing organizations:

  • American Translators Association (ATA): 5 Continuing Education Credits
  • Massachusetts Office of Language Access: Up to 5 Credits
  • Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI): 6 Credits (3 sessions)
  • International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA): Pre-approval pending
