Following merger, Amplexor adopts Acolad brand


What’s in a name? Well, with Amplexor rebranding itself as Acolad, it’s the first step toward the future.

The company announced its new name today following the completion of its merger with Acolad in 2021. With a unified name and a unified vision, company leaders look forward to a 2022 of expanded global reach and capabilities.

“In 2021, we achieved our global integration process, bringing together the group’s platforms, operations, and service lines,” said Olivier Marcheteau, Acolad CEO. “This enabled us to deliver an even richer portfolio of solutions and a seamless global experience to our customers. Rebranding Amplexor as Acolad is an important milestone that will enable us to compete and convey our promise of ‘turning content into value’ with a unified approach in all geographies.”

“Acolad has always shared Amplexor’s values and quality standards, as well as our focus on customer delight,” added Mark Evenepoel, former CEO of Amplexor and now Board Member and Advisor. “Now that the merger of the group is being finalized, we are proud to become one today, with a single and unified voice to address the global market.”

The companies’ merger brings considerable synergies to both operations. Prior to the merger, Amplexor established a strong presence in the US, Europe and Asia with a comprehensive content management and digital experience platform. Acolad, meanwhile, built deep experience with language solutions that evolved into a full-service experience for its customers. The result is a complementary business package that spans 25 countries, three continents, and the biggest specializations — including manufacturing, life sciences, legal, finance, ecommerce, and the public sector.

Amplexor and Acolad’s merger, announced in 2020, signaled a flurry of business consolidations over the past few years as companies strengthened their capabilities in anticipation of explosive language-industry growth.
