GlobeScribe Soft Launches AI-Powered Book Translation Platform for Authors and Publishers

GlobeScribe, a technology company focused on AI-powered book translation, has launched a soft release of its platform, offering early access to independent authors and publishers seeking faster and more cost-effective ways to translate creative works.

High costs and long timelines have historically limited access to professional book translation. Human translation can range between $7,000 and $17,500 per novel and often takes several months. GlobeScribe’s service aims to reduce those barriers by offering AI-generated translations within 24 hours — and often in less than two — at a flat rate of $100 per book, per language.

“Our goal is to streamline the translation process for independent creators,” said Fred Freeman, Co-founder of GlobeScribe. “This soft launch allows us to test and refine a service that responds to real publishing needs.”

GlobeScribe’s system is trained to handle both fiction and non-fiction, prioritizing fluency, tone, and character voice. The platform currently supports French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Portuguese, with outputs available in EPUB and DOCX formats.

In addition to individual use, GlobeScribe offers white-label and API integrations for publishers, along with volume discounts. A package of five target languages is available for $450. Full details on features and pricing are available on the GlobeScribe pricing page.

Feedback from this initial phase will inform the platform’s public release, planned for August 2025. The platform is accessible at globescribe.ai.
