India to ramp up multilingual BPO services?

Sister site Blogalization reports an intriguing story about the potential for multilingual (i.e. other than English) skills in Indian outsourcing centers, covering translation and interpretation work among other opportunities. India’s National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) is “organising a national level seminar in Bangalore to offer a platform to the companies offering multi-lingual services to share their experiences and how the global delivery model can help address different aspects of this new process”.
