At the same time, Palabra AI secured USD 8.4M in pre-seed funding to expand its speech translation platform, while Singapore-based Bluente raised USD 1.5M to scale its language technology infrastructure.
Adding to the momentum, Canadian startup Cohere launched Command A Translate, claiming it outperforms GPT‑5, DeepL, and Google Translate in enterprise-focused multilingual translation. The model supports 23 business languages and allows on-premise deployment for sensitive environments.
Certification, Access, and Standards
SAFE AI and CoSET released Part A of their AI Interpreting Solutions Evaluation Toolkit. The resource offers practical checklists to guide organizations in adopting AI ethically and equitably in interpreting.
Meanwhile, Lionbridge was named to Training Industry’s 2025 Top 20 for its Content Remix App, recognized as one of the year’s standout AI authoring and localization tools.
