Long-time industry leader TransPerfect just revealed that the company reached USD 1.1 billion in revenue in 2021. This is up from USD 852.4 million in 2020 and an increase of more than 30 percent year-over-year.

Adaptive Globalization Announces 2022 Best Employers in Localization Awards

Earlier this week, the United Kingdom-based company Adaptive Globalization announced the winners of the 2022 Best Employers in Localization Awards (BELA), which award language service providers (LSPs) who provide employees with outstanding benefits and resources. This year, Sandberg Translation Partners and Capita Translation and Interpreting were awarded with the BELA for Overall Best Employer.

Executives say Rodriguez is a good match for Sorenson, a provider of video-interpretation services with a specialization in hard-of-hearing and Deaf-specific communication. Rodriguez enters the position with a wealth of business experience, which will no doubt prove invaluable as the company begins a busy year. 

DeepScribe lands $30 million investment in transcription AI

Tech Crunch reports that DeepScribe has landed $30 million in Series A funding, primarily from Nina Achadjian at Index Ventures. Existing investors Stage 2 Capital, 1984 Ventures and Bee Partners, plus newcomers Scale.ai CEO Alex Wang and Figma CEO Dylan Field, are also in the mix.
